Itineraries Sunday in SoHo
1
10:30: Morning
No Sunday morning would be complete without a leisurely breakfast poring over the Sunday newspaper. The Press Room, situated on 108 Hollywood Road, serves a wide range of tempting brunch items, and is the perfect place for fulfilling just that. Although delicious, we would suggest avoiding a heavy option - like the lobster eggs benedict or french toast with bananas - and instead choosing a frothy bowl of cappuccino or a bowl of greek yoghurt with hazelnuts and berries, in order to save yourself for lunch.2
12:00: Art and culture
You only need to wander along Hollywood Road and up Aberdeen Street to get to the Karin Weber Art Gallery. Take your time and peruse the beautiful art in this warm and welcoming gallery. Showcasing international contemporary art of both emerging and established artists, you are sure to find something you like. Click here to read an exclusive interview with Karin Weber.3
1:30: Lunch
With your mind filled with the wonderful art you have just viewed, keep walking along Hollywood Road towards Central until the road merges with Wyndham Street. Continue along the road until you reach the exclusive club, Dragon-i. By night, this club is full of beautiful people dancing to beats and sipping on cocktails. By day, this famous club becomes a peaceful retreat from the city and the ideal lunch spot for a Sunday afternoon. Serving all-you-can-eat dim sum daily, you can lounge back on comfy outdoor chairs on the terrace and work your way through steaming baskets of sweet and savoury delights, whilst being serenaded by birdsong from the giant birdcage.4
3:30: De-stress
Don't worry, nothing physical is required for this next Sunday afternoon activity. We understand the need to lie back and digest the copious amounts of Cha Siu Bao you will have just ingested. You only need to make your way across the steps just outside Dragon I to find yourself at your next destination, the Sense of Touch spa on Arbuthnot Road. Here you can make the most of the Spa promotions and have an Elemis Visual Brilliance facial or, if you are male, an Elemis Urban Cleansing facial for men. After the facial, it would be rude not to indulge in a 30 minutes back and shoulder massage for just $270.5
5:30: Retail Therapy
Walk along to the escalator and let it transport you up to Caine Road. Wander along the street until you get to Indigo Living where you can browse through all the wonderful home products they have on offer. From candles and lights, to beautiful cutlery and plates to adorn your kitchen with, there is something for everyone here. Next, take a sharp left back down Aberdeen Street until you get to Elgin Street. Cut back towards Central through the heart of SoHo and don't forget to venture into the many little boutiques along the way!6
7:00: Dinner
We bring you on a full circle for dinner. Wagyu on Wyndham Street is, we think, the ideal Sunday evening dining spot. Open onto the street with huge comfy chairs and a light and relaxing interior of light woods and white material, this restaurant feels like a holiday beachside restaurant. With no one worrying how long you take to eat, you can take your time and peruse the extensive and mouthwatering menu. If shopping has given you an appetite, the Wagyu burger is sure to satisfy even the hungriest of bellies. For a lighter option, the salads are a great choice. Unlike a lot of main course salads, the portions are large and definitely fill you up when paired with the complimentary warm bread and butter.7
9:00: Post-dinner drinks
Wagyu also has a great bar attached to the restaurant, so you won't need to go far for a post-dinner drink. Serving a large assortment of delicious wines, we would recommend a glass of crisp white Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to sip on whilst you watch your fellow Sunday SoHoers wander by. A perfect way to end a relaxing Sunday in SoHo.User Comments
